March is right around the corner, and that means those in the robotics, supply chain and technology worlds will flock to downtown Atlanta for the Modex 2024 supply chain conference, bringing the industry’s focus to the city from March 11-14. More than 1,000 providers will be showcasing solutions during the logistics event amid a robust schedule of panels and keynotes.
Why visit Modex 2024?
Modex is powered by MHI, the largest material handling, logistics and supply chain association in America. That means attendees will benefit from invaluable networking time with key innovators and industry leaders. There’s also the chance to see game-changing order fulfillment robotic solutions up close and personal.
Here are the four activities you shouldn’t miss at Modex 2024:
Gain mobile robotics insights from Geekplus experts
Leadership from Geekplus will be on hand during Modex to provide insight and guidance into order fulfillment automation using mobile robots.
On March 11 at 1:30 p.m., Rick DeFiesta, executive vice president of sales and solutions at Geekplus, takes the stage in the Transportation and Logistics Theater for “Don’t get locked in: Why flexible automation is a safe, long-term bet.”
During the presentation, he’ll discuss how customers can ensure resilient order-fulfillment operations in the face of constantly fluctuation consumer demands and market volatility. Attendees will learn how flexible, reliable mobile robotic order fulfillment solutions help 3PLs, retailers and other warehouse operators quickly adapt to changing business circumstances. Not all mobile robotics technology is created equal, so Rick will give you suggestions about what to look for when considering a mobile robotics technology to make sure you don’t link up with the wrong provider for your needs.
The final day of Modex 2024 sees Randy Randolph, vice president of channel partners Americas at Geekplus, join a panel of industry experts to discuss order fulfillment optimization. Randy and thought leaders from Oniverse, Swisslog and Beumer Group will discuss how to best match a Goods-to-Person (GTP) solution to your needs. Make sure you don’t miss “Optimizing Fulfillment and Sorting: Choosing the right GTP technology” on March 13 at 2:30 p.m. in the Emerging Technologies Theater.
